Young Eagles Mission

The mission of the EAA Aviation Foundation's Young Eagles Program is to provide a motivational aviation experience, focusing on a demonstration flight in an airplane. Our goal is to reach 1 million young people in the year 2003 - the dawn of aviation's second century and EAA's 50th anniversary.

Each Young Eagle will know the exhilaration and freedom of flight, as shared by a dedicated pilot whose life has been positively influenced by aviation. A Young Eagle will also come to see and understand - as through the eyes of an eagle - that the true potential of life lies beyond everyday surroundings and may be reached through pursuit of high personal goals.

TAA and Young Eagles

To spark interest in aviation, the Tisdale Aviation Association / Canadian Owners and Pilots Association Flight #93 is sponsoring free flights for youths. We want to expand your horizon of experience and have you set your sights higher. Flights of about 15 minutes will follow a safety and familiarization briefing. In past years some local businesses have contributed toward the cost of fuel, but this year they are not being canvassed. The fuel is supplied by our local Association and the cost of flying the aircraft is contributed by the owners.
